FAQ

Q: When will I know if I won?
A: You will be notified via E-mail in mid April or you can monitor the Awards page on the NASA Ames Space Settlement Contest web site.  Note: The awards page will be blank until the awards are posted in mid-April.

Q: How do I know if my submission arrived?
A: On the contest entry it is specified that there are no confirmations of receipt. It is highly recommended, that you use a carrier service that can provide this for you.

Q: I sent my contest entry. Now, what should I do?
A: Wait for the competition results to be determined.  If you are planning to attend the ISDC, please monitor the ISDC Space Settlement Student website on a regular basis for updates and instructions on how to sign up for the poster sessions, oral presentations, and other events.  Note the following:

 

a)  For Canadian nationals –  You need to register for ISDC 2015 and sign up for a poster presentation at the ISDC Space Settlement Student website to expose your project.

b) For US citizens –  You need to register for ISDC 2015 and sign up for a poster presentation at the ISDC Space Settlement Student website to expose your project. You will NOT need a visa to enter Canada, but you WILL need a passport. 

c) For non-Canadian or non-US citizens – You will need to obtain your visa (and passport if you do not have one) right away and BEFORE you make any reservations or register for the conference.  Visa and other important information will be located on the ISDC Space Settlement Student website as well and should be reviewed before making travel/airplane arrangements on attending the conference.

Q: My family is attending the ISDC with me. What do they do?
A: Your family can register for the ISDC too and enjoy the many presentations at the conference.  In addition,  Toronto has plenty of attractions for your family! While at the conference, you should be with at least one adult and your teammates! Remember your registration only covers you!

RESULTS

Our Goal is to expose young creativity around professionals of diverse fields of interest.
